I’m really only writing about Jose Canseco and his upcoming appearance on the “Moment of Truth” because I wanted to toss in Jose’s tirade from his book signing earlier this year that our cameras caught. The language gets a bit salty, so if you have a young child sitting on your lap — or if you are a young child who might grow up to be a deadbeat if you hear swear words at an impressionable age — please don’t hit play.  The fun starts at the 3:25 mark. OK, so where were we? Oh yes, Canseco on “Moment of Truth” — the show where they pay you money if you tell the truth based off a polygraph.  The details from AM 570 KLAC in Los Angeles:

Canseco already has taped the episode and according to my source that was in attendance during the taping Canseco was asked if he ever injected Mark McGwire with steroids and if he ever corked his bat amoung other questions that were asked during the taping.  The episode of ”The Moment of Truth” with Canseco is supposed to air in late September or early October.

According to my whocares-o-meter — which measures the popularity of fading stars clinging to what little bit of dignity they have — this scores a 3.2. The scale is out of 100, in case you were wondering.
