Dude, Where’s My Coach? Kutcher Fulfills Destiny as Leader of Young Men
Ashton Kutcher is a man of significant range. Witness: Dude, Where’s My Car?, “That 70’s Show,” “Punk’d,” and the movie where he played the love interest of Bernie Mac’s daughter. (RIP, Bern.)
So it should come as no huge surprise that a group of adults are interested in letting Kyle Korver’s evil twin lead their high school sons into battle on the football field.
WITH his latest TV show, “Pop Fiction,” canceled, Ashton Kutcher certainly has time on his hands. The boy toy of Demi Moore is now the assistant football coach at private LA prep school Harvard-Westlake. “The team was totally surprised when they showed up for practice and Ashton was there,” said our source.
Totally. It’s not that inconceivable to have a celebrity running a team of football amateurs; I did, after all, coach the Sigma Kappa Powder Puff team to two consecutive undefeated seasons while at NC State. But these are young men who, in theory, are highly malleable in terms of morals, character and ideals.
And while Ashton seems like the kind of guy who would be fun to hang out with (I guess), I’m having a tough time picturing him handing out necessary lessons on young-adult behavior to these kids. Or, at the very least, I don’t picture him being able to speak audibly over the noise of 25 17-year-olds chorusing “Duuuuuuuuude, Demi Moore is a MIIIIIIIIIILF!!!”
Assuming they know who Demi Moore is. If not, I’m going to feel very sad about my life.
