The good news about this (at time of writing) now two-hour rain delay for the Sox-Tigers matchup in the White Sox Season That Just Won’t End: White Sox fans stuck at work during the day might be able to catch some innings at home on the couch.  (Score!)

The bad, completely fabricated by me news: if the game doesn’t end up getting played today, the Sox and Twins are instead going to decided who goes to the postseason by a best of three games in a Wii bowling matchup between Ozzie Guillen and Ron Gardenhire.

If a tie is somehow still in effect after three games of bowling, A.J. Pierzynski will battle Joe Mauer in an obstacle course. If they somehow tie, the Red Sox are going to get dropped out of the playoffs and both the Sox and Twins will make it. (Sorry Boston!)

Actually, I like the Sox’s odds much better in this scenario.
