We Are Marshall’s Haphazard Care For Dangerous Sporting Equipment
If you like horrific injuries in moving pixelated format, golly, do the Internets have a video for you today! (HT: Sporting Blog, SbB)
Gah! The receiver in question is Houston’s Patrick Edwards, whose leg, as you’ll see, goes careening into the side of a metal cart that should really be nowhere near a football field, let alone that close to the end zone. Receivers and cornerbacks have a habit of, you know, running back there. Metal should not be one of the obstacles they are required to face.
This would have never have happened if Matthew McConaughey was still coaching there. He would have shielded Edwards’ leg with his bare, rock-hard — and yet tender — torso.
