Hester On Orton: ‘He’s Going To Push For This Week’

By Ryan Corazza

After it was revealed yesterday that Kyle Orton had no torn ligaments, it was assumed he’d be on the shelf for three to four weeks. But our Sarah Spain caught up with Devin Hester yesterday, and he indicated Orton is looking to come back this week against the Titans.

I talked to Kyle this morning and he said the process from yesterday to today was a lot better and if it continues like that he’s going to push for this week. He said the process from yesterday to today he improved a lot so he’s hoping if it continues to process like that throughout the rest of the week, he might take a shot.

Now, just because Orton said this to Hester, by no means indicates he’ll be back for sure. (And um, it might be sort of silly to rush back.) But hey, I’m willing to bet Bears fans will take this news heading into a game against an undefeated Titans squad.
