One Of Michael Jordan’s Greatest Games, YouTubed To The Max
One of life’s little joys is the depth of Michael Jordan videos on YouTube. It fascinates me how every single day there are Jordan videos going up, and oftentimes they highlight a specific game where Jordan completely and utterly dominates, and it’s a multi-part video.
But, YouTube user “mustseebbtv” really goes above and beyond for a March 29, 1990 game in which “Jordan scored 69 points, the ninth-highest total in NBA history, as Chicago beat Cleveland, 117-113, in overtime and clinched a spot in the playoffs. He made 23 of 37 shots and 21 of 23 free throws. He also had a career-high 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.”
Dude freeze frames instances in the game, and highlights specific defenses the Cavs threw against Jordan with arrows and text. It’s like we’re inside Larry Brown’s film room or something. Good work, sir. This was uploaded back in March so it’s not incredibly timely, but old Jordan games are timeless, no? Part 1 is directly below, Parts 2-6 are after the jump.
