Everybody Freak: Cat Scampers On Wrigley Field Last Night

Have you heard? Out of nowhere, a cat appeared in center field last night during the Cubs-Reds game. Here’s video, which will be taken off of YouTube in the next 24 hours. Watch it while you can!

In that same inning, Jay Bruce hit a foul ball in the Bartman area of the stands, and Alfonso Soriano pursued it a bit, but a fan in the stands snagged it. BUM BUM BUM: THE CUBS ARE SO CURSED AGAIN THIS YEAR. Except, it was a white cat with spots — a calico, apparently — not a black one. And, the Cubs won the game, scoring five runs in the next two innings to take the lead for good.

So maybe these two incidents somehow reversed the black cat 1969 curse and the Bartman one as well? Or maybe there’s no such thing as curses as all. I’m going to go with the latter.

What I really want to know is this: What happened to that cat? It was a such a nice, cute cat.

Yeah, and who picked that cat up by it's tail and dropped it into the stands? I think the cats was just shagging flys out there, what'd he ever do to deserve that undignified treatment?

A cat bed also provides the same amount of comfort and if you cat likes the sun when she sleeps, then you could diamond kitty purchase a perch for her to sleep on by a window.

I don’t want to get into a whole “the word ‘ghetto’ is a horrible choice for the name because of all the racial undertones/issues/problems that surround golf” type of thing, because, as Busbee pointed out, there will be puh-lenty of that from other sources.
