In the next five years, you, the sports fan, are going to be deluged with LeBron vs. Jordan comparisons. If James wins the title this year, they will start in earnest, and they won’t stop until LeBron eventually hangs the sneakers up. That will get annoying; especially, I’d imagine, for LeBron.

But even if he never wins as many titles, LeBron still has one thing up on MJ: the ability to make ridiculous trick shots with the cameras rolling. The latest:

Jordan’s thing was the game-winner. Countless slogans and inspirational quotes and marketing campaigns have been designed around Jordan’s innate ability to make 20-footers with the game on the line. One such slogan: “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” So maybe LeBron’s thing can be the insane practice trick shot. “You miss 100 percent of the shirtless, half-court, behind-the-back shots you don’t take. Buy more Nike shoes.” Why am I not in advertising again? This stuff is gold, man.
