This zany flip out by Rome Braves manager Randy Ingle actually happened at the end of last week, but video just hit YouTube yesterday.

Ingle was arguing a potential game-winning home run call here, so his totally sane and rational move of picking up third base, moving it to short and signaling a foul ball to mock the umpire is completely warranted. I’d liken it to an intellectual counterpoint in a Lincoln-Douglas debate.

If you recall two years back, the Double-A manager of the Braves farm system, Phillip Wellman, had pretty much the most awesome breakdown of all time. Seriously. “SportsCenter” rated it as the No. 1 sports meltdown in history.
