Video: Blackhawks Come Back From 5-0 To Beat Flames
Last evening while I was watching “The Wire” — Season 1 is in the books for me; that finale was quite good — people were complaining about the Blackhawks on Twitter. Apparently, they were getting killed 5-0. But as the night wore on, everyone did a 180 and started writing about what a comeback they’d just undertaken.
Little did I know the Hawks had gone down 5-0 in the first period to the Flames, only to will themselves back to a 5-5 tie in regulation, before Brent Seabrook netted the game-winner in overtime for a 6-5 victory. The win matches an NHL record for largest comeback ever, while setting a Blackhawks franchise record. Good Golly Miss Molly.
