Yes, all these ridiculous assists are from one game, even though it might look more like a season or career highlight reel. I have no doubt that Rubio will be in the NBA someday, and Jonny Flynn might prove to be a solid enough player for the Timberwolves.

But can you imagine if this guy decided to come play for the Wolves and he was working with the likes of Kevin Love and Al Jefferson — assuming they’re not both injured, like they are now — on these quick toss alley-oops? And really, it doesn’t even have to be the Wolves; Rubio would be a joy to watch on any squad.

Instead, he’s in Spain. And we’ll have to rely on YouTube to give us our Rubio fix. ‘Tis a shame.
