A.J. Price Will Make You Look Silly
Last night, I watched my Hoosiers hit the lowest point of their entire woeful year, losing to Northwestern at home for the first time in 41 years, and the first time ever inside Assembly Hall. Tom Crean also played a manager during the final minute or so of the game. Yikes.
But, lest I dwell too much on bad basketball, there was a nice little Big East matchup last evening as well, as Crean’s former squad Marquette took on UConn. It was a battle of two top 10 teams, with UConn breaking Marquette’s 17-game home win streak with a win. There were also a few other things breaking. Like, Dominic James’ foot. (Literally: He’ll be out for the year.) And Jerel McNeal’s ankles. (Figuratively: See below via the Sporting Blog.)
