Thanks To Pestering Fans, Caleb Hanie Gets Some Coverage
Everywhere you look, there is Jay Culter coverage. Can you believe the Bears might have a passing game now? That they might look to run only to preserve a lead, not as the focal point of their offense? OH MY GOD HOW CRAZY.
But, unlike most over-coverage, I’ll give the Cutler stuff a pass. When Chicago’s gone this long without a Pro Bowl-worthy quarterback, it’s going to be the story of the Bears’ offseason, training camp, preseason and actual season. It just is.
But where does that leave poor Caleb Hanie? After all, it used to be two quarterbacks in town: Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman. It’s now become a one quarterback city.
But fear not, Hanie fans, the TOTALLY HILARIOUS hecklers over at Game of Inches, who were down at Bourbonnais sometime this week, got Hanie to jokingly say he was better than Cutler.
Is this what they call citizen journalism?

… which is good news. But, it doesn’t mean he’s coming back any earlier. A high ankle sprain is a high ankle sprain and Mr. Orton is not expected to return for three weeks to a month. Bummer, bro. However, would you like to know some particulars of a high ankle sprain according to ESPN’s injury analyst?
