Video: Mark Buehrle Does Letterman’s Top 10

By Ryan Corazza

Mark Buehrle’s appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night was about what you’d expect: funny enough, but not the greatest delivery in the world. (Buehrle saves his best stuff for the mound.)  DeWayne Wise and Josh Fields get a cameo on No. 6.

My favorite? No. 5.

Batting Stance Guy Hits Letterman

By Ryan Corazza

Slow day? Slow day.

By now you have heard of Batting Stance Guy, the bro who is ridiculously good at imitating MLB batting stances. (As it dubs it: “The Least Marketable Skill In America.”) Well, besides being invited to clubhouses to perform for teams, BSG also got invited to the “Late Show with David Letterman,” which aired last evening.

Here it is. Be amazed. Be entertained.

Matthew Stafford Surprisingly Humorous On Letterman

By Will Brinson

David Letterman’s made a career out of having celebrities on to read his Top 10 lists. Okay, actually Dave’s made a career out of “Heeey-a, Paul” jokes and actually being funny, but he usually cons someone into mocking themselves with his list reading. Matthew Stafford, the recent No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, is another great example. And, surprisingly, Stafford’s quite funny. It’s not that I thought he would be a stick in the mud, or wouldn’t know how to spin a joke; I just didn’t think we’d be getting Peyton Manning 2.0, in terms of commercial appeal. But we might.

Video: Nate Robinson on ‘Late Show With David Letterman’

By Ryan Corazza

Your 2009 slam dunk champ, Nate Robinson, was a guest of David Letterman’s last evening. He busted out the green uniform and those “KryptoNate” shoes again — which are still in his possession, sorry eBay bidder who threw down over $20K to buy what you thought where his shoes — while dunking over Biff.

Peep it here:

Letterman: ‘Chirp! Chirp! It’s Bird Time.’

By Ryan Corazza

David Letterman has upended Jay Leno over the last couple months in my mind, solely because when he has any of “The Hills” peeps on, or Paris Hilton, or anyone from that bastion of Hollywood that encompasses Everything That Is Wrong With The World Today, he absolutely grills them. It is awesome.

And, on Wednesday night’s show, Dave took some time out to hype up his Ball State Cardinals — they of 10-0 fame — all the while poking fun at the likes of Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame et al. IT SO AMAZING SERIOUSLY WATCH IT.

And yes, I just posted another video. Can you tell it’s Friday afternoon?

By Ryan Corazza

This just goes to show you, politics are sometimes more important than sports. Well, only every four years. And in the fall.
