Salter Looks For His First Offer

By Dave Spahn

When a team consists of many talented guards like last year’s Oak Park River Forest squad did, it is natural that a few kids might not receive the amount of playing time they desired. One of those players was class of 2009 guard Matt Salter. I briefly caught up with this 6′2″ guard last night, and he filled me in on a few key points about his recruitment.  “North Carolina A&T, Ball State, UW-Parkside, Edgewood (D3), and Winston Salem have all showed interest,” said Salter.  “I took a visit to North Carolina A&T on October 10th and 11th, which was really fun. They are going to watch me play throughout the season and then wait on my ACT score. Hopefully I’ll get an offer after that.” Below is an interview between Salter and Mike Kosman from Websportschicago.com. Keep tuning in for more info about this talented prospect.
