Freshman Sensation Hill-Bey Already Receiving College Attention
Malcolm Hill-Bey of Mount Carmel High School is arguably the top prospect in the loaded Illinois Class of 2012. Several Colleges are already drooling over this freshman. Illinois, Indiana, and Tennessee have all jumped out early to persuade Hill-Bey into joining their program.
Some argue that freshmen should not get college attention, but freshmen like Hill-Bey have a way of getting noticed. This 5′8″, 145 pound superstar has displayed outstanding potential with his jet quickness, his superb court vision, and his knack for finding the open man. He handles the ball like a yo-yo on a string, leaving no room for error. After a great performance on day two of the Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp, here is what Scout.com Evan Daniels had to say about Hill-Bey:
“Already a known talent in the city of Chicago, Hill-Bey didn’t show up until the second day of the event, but he certainly made his presence known. Although he stands just 5-foot-8, he’s extremely quick off the bounce and is elusive in the open court. His vision is impressive and the southpaw showed a nice floater in the lane.”
Below is an interesting video about Hill-Bey. Those who haven’t heard about this talented young prospect will soon be the minority.
