Friday the Chicago Blackhawks selected Dylan Olsen with the 28th pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Olsen, a defenseman for the Camrose Kodiaks of the Alberta National Hockey League, will play hockey for the University of Minnesota-Duluth in '09-'10.

Friday the Chicago Blackhawks selected defenseman Dylan Olsen with their first pick in the NHL Entry draft. The team's 28th overall pick was their latest in the first round in the history of the Blackhawks franchise, a testament to their outstanding '08-'09 season. The 6'2" defenseman, with the Camrose Kodiaks of the Alberta National Hockey League, was selected to the 2009 Canadian Junior Hockey League and will attend the University of Minnesota-Duluth next year.
